Windows 10 allows you to easily customize your account picture using pictures (.jpg, .png, .bmp...) stored on your PC or with a selfie taken with your webcam. But did you knew that it works for video too? While you won't be able to pick videos stored on your PC, there's a small workaround that involves using a webcam andWindows 10's default Camera app. The procedure is as follows:
Click on Start > Settings > Accounts > Your account:
Scroll to the Create your picture section and then click on the Camera icon:
The Camera app opens, click on the small Camcorder button once to switch to video mode:
Click on the Camcorder button again to record/stop your video; try to keep it short though. Once done, click on Ok to confirm and return to the Accounts page or click on Retake to record a new video:
